1. Acceptance
By booking or using our services you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of someone else (e.g., a business), you confirm you have the legal authority to bind them.
2. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
Bookings are confirmed only after payment (if required) or after a booking confirmation email.
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are shown at booking and may vary by service. Refunds, if any, will be processed according to the policy displayed at time of booking.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings (e.g., for safety, capacity, or behavioral reasons). If we cancel, we will notify you and, where applicable, offer a refund or alternate slot.
3. Pet Health, Vaccination & Behaviour
You must provide accurate information about your pet, including vaccinations, health conditions, medications, and behavioral issues.
Pets must be up to date on vaccinations and parasite control as required by local law and as requested by PetFort.
Pet parents are responsible for any veterinary or medical costs incurred due to their pet’s health issues unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Pet Parent Responsibilities & Indemnity
You (the pet parent) are responsible for your pet’s behaviour and for keeping your pet’s records (vaccination, medical, ID) up to date.
You agree to indemnify and hold PetFort harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your pet’s actions or from omissions you made about your pet’s health/behaviour.
5. Liability & Limitation
While The PetFort strives to maintain a safe, controlled and clean environment for all pets and visitors, certain events may occur that are outside our direct control. Accordingly, and to the extent permitted by law:
PetFort’s total liability for any claim relating to loss, damage, injury or service issues shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service.
PetFort is not liable for injuries, health complications, behavioural incidents or unforeseen events arising from natural pet behaviour, undisclosed medical conditions, or factors beyond reasonable oversight.
PetFort does not assume responsibility for any injury, harm or loss involving children (including minors) while on our premises. Monitoring and supervision of children remains the sole responsibility of the pet parent or guardian.
6. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of a medical emergency affecting your pet, PetFort may seek veterinary care at your expense if immediate treatment is necessary and we cannot reach you.
You authorize us to obtain necessary emergency care for your pet and agree to promptly reimburse all reasonable veterinary and transport costs.
7. Property, Access & Personal Items
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought on premises unless due to our proven negligence.
You authorize PetFort staff to handle and care for pets as needed for normal service delivery.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, mobile app and services (text, images, logos) is owned by PetFort or licensed to us. You may not reuse our content without written permission.
9. Privacy & Data
Use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website, mobile app and services you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PetFort operates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
